Corporate Imprinting at its Finest

I couldn't help but buy this shopping cart for Ethan. It's a great tool for him in terms of PT since it's so light weight and he has to maneuver it around the house without putting any of his weight behind it. It's a good exercise in theory, but he hasn't pushed it once since I brought it home last week. He'd rather take the items out and throw them all over the house. He has also tried to climb into it a few times. That didn't go so well.

Here is a shot where I actually caught him signing, which is so hard to do since he never stops moving. He's signing cookie because there is a box of cookies in the shopping cart (he's holding them in the previous pic), he looks pretty excited about it for some reason!

Well. It's a cute toy, but I'd be peeling those stickers off, if at all possible. Heh.

I actually wouldn't worry about the stickers, because it probably makes it feel more REAL to him - and thus more interesting. The Baby desperately campaigned for a huge box full of toy-sized brand-name food containers yesterday, which WOULD have been fun, if I'd had the money. But alas.
He's a cutie!

He is SO cute. KayTar would go nuts over the cart.

there's just something about Wal-Mart. I always intend to buy food and only food, and then I come out with two bags-o-crap I didn't need. This boy is too cute, too cute!

Slouching Mom- we're talking about making EthanMart stickers to put over the Wally World stickers.

Beck-Thanks for saying hi!

Kyla-Ethan's playmate is a little girl who also has this cart and she really loves it! She actually pushes it!

Mrs. C- I hate Walmart most of the time...but when I have to go there for something I get so peeved that they don't have any shopping baskets anywhere in the store! You have to get a cart, that way you'll load up on more CRAP! The nerve!

Hannah use to love that toy. She would run around the house with it and put everything in it. So if your ever missing your remote, your just might want to check in there.
I think it is great for him as far as PT! He looks like he is loving it and the cookies.
Thanks for the link today, can't wait to check them out. You know I love to see pictures of E-boy!
XOXOXO

He is adorable! And, I for one, couldn't live without Wal-Mart (I know, I know) - but I love being able to get all my crap in one place!

I'm back - I'm so glad you came to visit. I had your little boy's face in my mind all morning (those cute blonde curls and glasses) - Thanks for visiting my site. My Dad was an only child as well. I have a sister also. Soon I'll write about her (she's a hoot)! Nice to meet you!

He is an adorable little guy. My kids are grown, but they had a similar shopping cart made my Fisher-Price. I don't remember what happened to it now, probably sold it in a garage sale. Seeing your little guy here brings back fond memories. . . :-)

Eileen, if you had trouble with those flickr pics you should try again, I changed the profile to public this time :-)

Karen, he comes by that love of shopping quite honestly!

KC, *you* want a cookie, or your *butt* wants a cookie? :-)

Kellan, we're glad to have found you as well!

Nathali, your little guy is so precious, I hope that I can be of some help in some small way since I've been through the hearing loss and reflux/apnea stuff...

Zellmer, I'm glad I found your blog, I'll be back.

KW, They don't make toys like they used to, obviously. My Fisher Price cart was so nice compared to this crappy little thing from Wally World. But it will do!

Jen, I have trouble picturing the beautious landscape of California being littered with these monstrositites, but I'm sure you have to deal just like the rest of us.
